Facilities and Equipment


Prolite has a 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant near Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our plant is divided into two separate fabricating areas, one for thermoplastic fabrication and one for fiberglass fabrication. Keeping our two shops separate maintains a clean working environment for welding of thermoplastics.

Our thermoplastic equipment includes:

  • Wegner SM04 Sheet Fusion Machine
  • Omicron PSO 702 pipe fusion machine (capable of fusing pipe up to 12" diameter)
  • Omicron 110 pipe fusion machines (capable of fusing pipe up to 4" diameter)
  • North American fusion machines (capable of fusing pipe up to 36" diameter)

Our dual laminate equipment includes:

  • tank & pipe filament winders capable of winding up to 20 foot diameter
  • pipe filament winders capable of winding pipe up to 48" diameter
  • glass cloth embedding winder for thermoplastic pipe
  • thermoforming oven and vacuum forming equipment
  • machining capabilities up to 42" diameter
